Picon had a dedicated reader call us unfair. They said we are ‘picking on’ Tracey Hilton Thomas.
The public records of Temporary Restraining Orders was brought to light by a phone poll that was made in District 4 and a reader alerted us to this poll and questions asked about the candidates. These records were from 2006 and 2002, the candidate had years to have the court records sealed.
Mark Lawson, we have been accused of ‘favoring’ is an open book with a massive Nevada Attorney General investigation. There just isn’t much that we don’t know about Lawson, except for maybe his shoe size. All his dirty laundry has been aired in the media for the last eighteen months.
Why do we think this is important because Appointed Commissioner Clara Andriola, is anything but transparent, and turned out to be “not as advertised.”
If you purchased Clara at the store and she was advertised to be a Republican, we’ve heard from most Republicans that they would return her and ask for their money back. Washoe County needs a commissioner in District 4 who will really represent the voters, answer questions, and meet with residents. Andriola is not that person, just try getting a meeting with her.
This is why so much attention is being paid to this District 4 Commissioner race.
Now we have an ethics violation published by the Nevada Signal. That means the individual making the complaint must have made the document available since this document cannot be found on the Nevada Commission on Ethics website.
Hilton-Thomas might want to do a bit more investigation and make a complaint to the Nevada Attorney General regarding the location of the polling place and Andriola political office.
In addition, Picon has sent several people into Red Hawk Golf and Resort, and no one seems to be able to find Andriola’s ‘in-kind’ office. We’re going to call upon the candidate to give us the address of the office and the suite number. Or perhaps County Manager Eric Brown might be able to let us know since he seems to be at Red Hawk Golf and Resort often. After all, David’s Grill at Red Hawk can’t be that far from Andriola’s Red Hawk office.
