Inquiring Minds … Who Leaked the Audio?

Commissioner Clara Andriola at the Casino Fandango Lincoln Day Dinner where audio from Governor Joe Lombardo’s speech was leaked.

While the media circus twirls around Governor Lombardo's Lincoln Day Dinner comments, Picon is asking the question no other media seems interested in: who exactly brought the recording device to Casino Fandango? In a room packed with the Governor's devoted supporters, someone clearly came prepared to capture more than just memories.

Even more intriguing is the deafening silence from the parade of elected officials who posed for photos but have suddenly developed political laryngitis. The media has shown remarkable restraint in not pressing these attendees for their reactions to Lombardo’s voice opinions.

Media should reach out to Commissioner Andriola’s ‘bestie’ Lt. Governor Stavros Anthony to get his opinion of Joe’s comments.

So we'll break the ice: Commissioner Clara Andriola, you found time for a photo opportunity with the Governor—perhaps you could spare a moment for a comment on his remarks? Your constituents are all ears... unless, of course, you've suddenly misplaced yours.

Or reach out to the guy who keeps missing all those requested Town Halls - Congressman Mark Amodei was on the dais and hanging out with Commissioner Andriola. Does Amodei have a thought about Lombardo’s statements.

Andriola’s post on Facebook - an article from This is Reno.

Better yet, and probably the easiest to get in touch with City of Sparks Councilmember Paul Anderson who was at Andriola’s table - wonder his opinion of what Governor Lombardo said. Better yet attend tomorrow’s City of Sparks City Council meeting and ask him during public comment. Be aware most of the time Anderson has to ask Mayor Ed Lawson what he should say so you won’t get a comment.

You can just make out Spark’s City Councilmember Paul Anderson in this Casino Fandango Lincoln Day Dinner photo from Commissioner Clara Andriola’s social media. Look at how happy they all are - we ponder if this was before or after Governor Lombardo’s speech.
