ROBBIN'HOOD - Thieving from Seniors to Give to the Not-Poor!

What would you say about misbehavior by a prominent municipal office holder in Northern Nevada? Would you say that’s par for the course for a politician? What if you learned this politician — who makes a loud and continual show of support for seniors — was in fact stealing from seniors?

You wouldn’t say that’s par for the course, would you?

What if you learned that local restaurants, grocery stores and other retailers were giving gift cards to this politician to pass on to vulnerable seniors on fixed incomes? What if you obtained proof this politician was not passing on the gift cards to seniors? What if that proof showed this politician was, instead, using the gift cards to pay teenagers to harvest ballots for political allies?

You’d be sickened and disgusted, wouldn’t you?

What if you obtained more proof that this ballot harvesting — remember: on the backs of needy seniors — was being undertaken to benefit two candidates running for re-election? What if you had further knowledge these two candidates knew the ballot harvesters were being paid with these gift cards?

You’d be even more repulsed, wouldn’t you? You’d think crimes had likely occurred, wouldn’t you? You’d think, at the very least, these two candidates should be investigated for ethics violations and deserved to lose their races, wouldn’t you? You’d think the same about the politician, working with seniors, who is spearheading this ballot harvesting, wouldn’t you?

Will there ever be justice meted out to people who steal from honored elders for their own vile political purposes? WILL THERE?
