First and foremost, let us address the issue at hand – the lack of rights at the homeless shelter. Read the fine print, you better not die, because you can’t hold Washoe County Government, Volunteers of America, Karma Box Project or Allied Universal responsible.
Now, one might argue that rights are like cookies – everyone should have them. It would seem Washoe County has removed the homeless folks’ traditional rights, but no one can take away their right to speak up, we urge past and present residents to do so. Drop us a line.
