Turns out T.J. Duncan—the developer at the center of your fight to protect Lakeridge Golf Course—is a supporter of none other than District Attorney Chris Hicks, who is kicking off his re-election campaign on September 9, 2025.
And where will this campaign launch be held? At Lakeridge Golf Course itself.
The optics couldn’t be worse. While residents are pouring time, energy, and money into saving Lakeridge from being carved up, the DA they may be counting on to protect community interests is literally partying on the property with the guy they’re battling.
So here’s the question: Who are Lakeridge warriors going to support when the DA’s office looks this cozy with the opposition?
